RxSense Named to Inc.’s Best in Business

Updated: Sep 20

We are thrilled to be named to Inc.’s 2023 Best in Business Awards list in the Software as a Service category! Inc.’s Best in Business Awards honor the most dynamic companies that have had an outstanding influence on their communities, industries, the environment, or society as a whole. To identify winners, Inc.’s editors reviewed the companies’ achievements over the past year and how they made a positive difference in the world. From thousands of applications, RxSense was selected for the positive impact our technology has had in delivering lower prescription costs to our partners and patients alike.

“RxSense being named one of Inc.’s Best in Business is a tremendous honor,” said Rick Bates, founder and CEO of RxSense, “This recognition speaks to our team’s commitment to delivering technology solutions that are making a meaningful impact on driving down the cost of prescriptions and improving healthcare outcomes for millions of patients nationwide.”

Eric Hagerman, Special Projects Editor at Inc., says, “Being named to the Best in Business list is a rare and special honor. These honorees demonstrate the foresight, caring, and dedication to prioritize positive impact—impact on their community, on their industry and the environment, and even on society as a whole.”

This year, RxSense brought its enterprise platform and data analytics technology to more businesses seeking a modern cloud-based solution for pharmacy benefits, providing them with unprecedented control, access to timely data insights, and transparency on plan performance. RxSense’s direct-to-consumer offering, SingleCare, has helped millions of people collectively save over $7 billion on their medications. Over the past year, SingleCare lowered prescription costs for millions of Americans nationwide, saving people approximately $70 per script.

As a technology leader for customizable pharmacy benefits solutions, RxSense continues to improve clinical outcomes for patients by providing PBMs with operational, clinical and financial insights to optimize business performance. We’re redefining pharmacy benefits and prescription savings for businesses and consumers alike, enabling our clients across the healthcare ecosystem to control their own pharmacy benefits for enhanced financial performance.

Outside of our technology solutions, we have partnered with several non-profit organizations, including BEAM (Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective), an organization supporting the mental health and healing of Black communities through education, training, advocacy, and the creative arts; and continue to provide financial support for non-profit organizations that support underserved communities where RxSense has local offices (Suits for Seniors in Florida, The Liberty Fund in New York City, and Heading Home in Boston). Additionally, RxSense CEO Rick Bates and his family are a founding family of The Goodness Web, a nonprofit organization that connects a diverse community of result-oriented donors and partners who pool their resources and expertise to accelerate the most promising mental health initiatives to improve lives.

RxSense and the full list of winners will also be included in the winter issue of Inc. magazine, which hits newsstands on December 12. For more information about Inc.’s Best in Business Awards, visit: https://www.inc.com/best-in-business.
