RxSense and SingleCare Named Winners in 2023 American Business Awards

RxSense is excited to announce that The American Business Awards (aka the Stevies) have recognized both RxSense and SingleCare as winners in their 21st annual awards. RxSense was recognized as a Company of the Year in the Health Products & Services category, winning the bronze award. Additionally, SingleCare won the silver award in the Fitness, Health & Wellness Branded Content category for its national television and digital advertising campaign with Hollywood star Martin Short.

Company of the Year

RxSense was recognized as a Company of the Year for delivering leading solutions to optimize pharmacy benefits administration and maximize prescription savings. In 2015, RxSense Founder and CEO Rick Bates brought a seasoned group of healthcare veterans familiar with the challenges of the industry and paired them with a savvy tech team to develop modern solutions that address the pain points of pharmacy benefits administration. Now, RxSense is redefining pharmacy benefits with its transformative enterprise solutions that enable clients across the healthcare ecosystem to control their own pharmacy benefits for enhanced financial performance.

RxSense’s direct-to-consumer service, SingleCare, offers a prescription savings app and website that enables free access to low prices and savings up to 80% on over 10,000 medications. Powered by its own industry-leading technology and through partnerships with the country’s largest pharmacies and grocers, including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger and Albertsons, SingleCare has helped millions of Americans collectively save over $6 billion on their medications.

National Advertising Campaign with Martin Short

SingleCare partnered with Emmy and Tony award-winning actor Martin Short, iconic star of “Saturday Night Live”, “Father of the Bride”, and the hit Hulu show “Only Murders in the Building”, on a new national television and digital advertising campaign to educate Americans about how SingleCare can help them save up to 80% on their prescriptions. The national television ad features Short as a regular at his local pharmacy, where he takes it upon himself to share the news of SingleCare’s cost-saving benefits, and explains that you can get great prices on meds—even cheaper than your insurance copay or Medicare plan price.

This is the third year RxSense has received the coveted Stevie awards, previously winning for its innovative RxAgile enterprise platform, which earned the silver award winner in the category of “Top Healthcare Technology Solutions” in 2022. In 2021, SingleCare won a silver award for “Most Valuable Corporate Response” for making prescription medications more accessible and affordable during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Stevie® Awards are considered among the world's premier business awards. They were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. There were nearly 4,000 nominations and more than 200 professionals took part in the judging process. Other notable winners in this year's awards are Hilton Grand Vacations, Mastercard, Lockheed Martin, and Walmart. Past winners include Apple, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Ford, Salesforce, Waze, Cisco, and Fidelity.
